  Absolutely love Saint Mary's Parish and school. All of the people are an extension of my own family. Full of caring, loving people. A diamond in the rough.

  Me and my boyfriend had a awful experience here. Never have we felt unwelcome at a church till now. We are from Birmingham Alabama and go to st. Elias Maronite Catholic Church. Which is different than st. Mary's because it is Roman Catholic but still our experience was awful. At the Maronite Catholic Church they do not hand you the bread at communion they put it in your mouth. St. Mary's hands it to you like most Roman Catholic Churches. Well my boyfriend has only been to Maronite Church's so didn't know this and was confused at first.. The man that handed it to him yelled "sir you need to eat that" in a mean tone like he didn't belong. Everyone looked at him and he felt very embarrassed. This is not how you should feel at church. That is just wrong. We have a apartment very close to st. Mary's but will not be going back.
